For Sale
From time to time, I have a number of lovely cavies up for sale as pets or pure with papers appropriate for exhibition. It is important to note that as a Registered Breeder I will only sell same sex pairs and to good pet homes only. A single cavy with papers will only ever be sold to another Registered Breeder. I do not in any way condone backyard breeding and hope that anyone who does might read this and think wisely. Pure cavies make beautiful, healthy and amazing pets, just as cross breeds do. Cavies aren't an "until" pet (until you get a cat, until you have children, until you move house and can't keep them anymore etc) they are a Forever pet, and for a cavy that is about 8 years if they're treated well.
Occasionally I take in cavies of poor health, or adopt cavies that the previous owners can't care for anymore. I give them all health checks, treat for mites/worms/etc. and make sure they're on a stable, fresh, healthy diet before moving them onto new homes. If you have a cavy you can't care for or who needs a new home, I'm happy to take them in.
I have reasonable expectations for anyone I sell to. You don't have to be experienced, but you must at least be willing to learn. They are great first pets for children. If you are interested in a pair or more of my lovely animals, please be sure to read up on what is safe to feed them, how they should be housed and what to do in case of emergency. As I have cared for these little guys and girls for over 15 years, I have been able to compile information on personal experience and the views/experiences of other Registered Breeders. I am happy to answer all questions and you are welcome to drop by and visit my stud for a look if you like. Happy to show children around and let them handle some cavies.
No question is stupid or unnecessary. If no one asked questions, no one would ever learn anything!

Good homes only please. My cavies are indoor forever pets. If you purchase a pair/trio etc. they should stay with you for the rest of their lives (8 years or so) in a comfortable indoor hutch so they won't die of exposure/predators, with plenty of good food and no poisons like rat bait/tomato greens/dairy etc.
If you can't keep your little ones for any reason, just bring them back and I will care for them. As their safety and happiness is my highest point of interest, I'm happy to re-home any cavies or keep them here with me, no questions asked.
