The Rex

Rex cavies are coarse, round and full of personality. They should have the same length coat all over, no longer than 1 1/2cm and be firm to the touch. I find they generally get bigger, fatter and heavier than any other breed. Sows shouldn't be bred if too large as they could get toxemia and lose the litter and/or their lives.
