Awesome Rescue
I am always happy to take in a cavy in need. If you have or know of a cavy (or multiple cavies) who need special care/a new home or medical attention, I will almost certainly take them in. So far I have refused no one. In most cases I will drive to the desired location and pick up the pig(s), though if you can drop them off, this helps a lot. Rescue cavies I take in are quarantined, checked for mites/worms/etc, given plenty of food and water and assessed over a few days. If they are healthy and ready to be re-homed, I will either keep them myself as company for my other pets, or find suitable homes. I make sure every cavy I re-home goes to the best applicant. As they are my favourite animal and hobby, I do my best to make sure every cavy is healthy and appropriately cared for.
If you have any questions about rescue (or anything else) or would like to adopt a rescue cavy, email me at [email protected]
Rescue Cavies
Below are my wonderful rescue cavies (not including Mr. Ponchos at the top - he already has a special place on the site :p)
Some are staying with me, (so far Mr. Ponchos, Barry, Queeny and bubs, Rupert and LeStrange, Muffin and JJ) and the others are up for adoption. If you can provide exceptional care for them, I am willing to let ones go that I have decided to keep. Contact me if you'd like any info or to take in some of these wonderful pets.
